Will Carling became the youngest ever England rugby captain in 1988 at just 22 years old.
He won 72 caps for England and the British and Irish Lions, leading his country to 1 World Cup Final, 3 Grand Slams and 4 Triple Crowns, making him the most successful England captain. Under Carling England started to challenge and beat the established rugby union powers such as New Zealand and Australia, and their success helped to make rugby union a more popular sport in England. Victories over New Zealand and South Africa in 1993 were perhaps the peak of England's performance under him.
After his rugby career, he became a TV Pundit on rugby union. He also works as a motivational speaker and in 2001 founded Will Carling Management Ltd, a corporate hospitality company delivering the best rugby hospitality available.
Will has recently set up The Rugby Agency to focus on delivering authentic rugby sponsorship for global brands with a key focus on the digital space.
