Men's Derbys

The Derby has a couple of synonyms such as Gibson and Blucher. Whatever you choose to call it, it is an important variation to be aware of when looking at shoe construction.

In essence, like the Oxford, the Derby is defined by the way the lacing and eyelets close the shoe. The closing panels are sewn on top of the vamp giving the shoe a more solid appearance and more room for the larger foot and higher instep. Click here for more information about derby shoes.
