Tristan Stone is the proud owner of Stones Boatyard, near Salcombe in South Devon, home of the famous “Salcombe Yawl”.
Jim Stone, Tristan`s father has been involved in boatbuilding and the marine industry in the U.K. for over 40 years. He is now based on Vancouver Island on the west coast of Canada.
Tristan continues the family tradition of hand crafting beautiful wooden clinker launches and Yawls.
Stones boat yard provide a comprehensive storage and maintenance facility for Salcombe Yawls and are pleased to announce that they are now the sole importer and UK distributor for the Van Wijk motor launch.
