Category | Herring Velvet Slipper
Weight | A pair of these shoes in size 8 weighs 637g
The Herring Ohene Slipper is a classic velvet slipper handmade in England. Featuring a luxurious quilted lining and embroidered crest, they’re not your average slipper. We are delighted to have collaborated with Prekese Mall on the Ghanaian inspired design. Often referred to as the Albert (after Queen Victoria’s consort), they were originally regarded as house shoes by the English. They became acceptable footwear for wearing with dinner jackets at home or at ones club, and remain so today. They’re also credited with being a forebear of the loafer, or at least helping towards its social acceptance. Fit for a King or the man with an appreciation of the finer things in life. |

This is a size guide based on our experiences working with customers from all over the world. Although we are confident of it's accuracy, there can be anomalies and for this reason we cannot guarantee the conversion will always be correct.

Please note that F is the normal width fitting. if you do not usually buy wider fitting shoes and you don’t struggle buying off the shelf shoes that fit you, please order F fitting. If you do have wider feet and find you often need to size up to get the width right, then G would be more suitable as they are 3-5mm wider without the added length.
"With the Herring Monarch, you just know you have slipped your feet into royalty. The slipper commands much respect and you feel it would have been Prince Albert's choice if he were still alive. It adds spark to your dressing and can liven a dull mood. A must have for anyone who wants to be spot-on dressing casually."
